Overuse Syndrome

Overuse Syndrome

Overuse syndrome, which is also known as Repetitive Motion Disorder, is a health condition that primarily affects individuals who frequently repeat specific movements in their daily routines.

One of the most common symptoms of this ailment is pain and discomfort, especially in the hands and arms. Overtraining or overuse injuries such as tendinitis, stress fractures, and similar muscle or joint injuries, typically occur due to repetitive trauma.

The primary cause of overuse injuries is often due to training or technique errors, which exacerbate the affected individual’s condition, making it worse or difficult to fully recover. It’s crucial to recognize the early warning signs of overuse syndrome and other similar conditions to prevent further damage and seek the necessary medical attention to manage the symptoms and alleviate any discomfort.
